MindsEye Development and Communications Coordinator Laura Foughty recently had a chance to chat by phone with Sean Smith, Director of Operations at the Muny. They discussed the theater’s pandemic projects, including their “virtual season” and construction projects backstage and in the theater. Of course there are also some sneak peeks into the upcoming 2021 season, which will include Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Mary Poppins, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, The Sound of Music, Sweeney Todd, On Your Feet and Chicago.
Of course, the Muny has been committed to being on the leading edge of accessibility offerings. For the upcoming season, the Muny has expanded their Audio Description offerings to two nights for each show. Now MindsEye will be onsite providing description for every Monday and Saturday performance!
