Location
COCA Center of Creative Arts is located at 6880 Washington Ave, St. Louis, MO 63130.
Parking
Free parking is provided across Washington Ave. from COCA in a new parking garage shared with Washington University. There’s usually ample parking in the parking garage. Limited street parking is also available. Please follow all University City parking rules.
Call-a-Ride, Ride Shares, Taxi
There is a drop-off and pick-up driveway in front of the building.
Public Transportation
The nearest Metrolink station is the BLUE line stop at University City-Big Bend. The walk is about nine minutes and 0.4 miles. Walk back in the direction you came from for one block to Trinity Ave, Turn left on Trinity crossing Pershing, Waterman, and Kingsbury, then Turn right on Washington. COCA is on the corner of Trinity and Washington, but the theater is in the new portion of the building about halfway down the block on the right side. The nearest bus stop is directly in front of the building on Washington at Trinity.
Tickets and Will Call
The box office is directly to your left when you enter the building. Please note that the far sides of the theater are not on an aisle, they are right against the walls and have less room for a service animal than other seats offered.
Audio Description Devices
You can pick up your audio description listening devices just to the left of the box office counter.
A MindsEye representative will need an ID to exchange for the device. We will keep your ID during the performance and return it to you when you return the device after the performance. AD receivers are small, handheld devices. They have a standard size headphone jack, and you are strongly encouraged to bring your own headphones. Sanitized headphones can also be provided at no cost. These headsets are yours to take with you and bring back next time.
Elevators
There are several stairs that lead up to the common area outside of the theater. You can avoid the stairs by taking the elevator just to the right of the ticket counter.
Restrooms
The restrooms are located in the upper area closer to the theater near the elevators.
Service Animal Policy
Trained service dogs are welcome to accompany their owner into COCA. We recommend aisle seating for patrons with service dogs to allow sufficient room for them to sit or lay down. Please note that the far sides of the theater are not on an aisle, they are right against the walls and have less room for a dog than other seats offered.
