MindsEye’s Arts and Culture Accessibility Cooperative (ACAC) believes that public spaces should be inclusive, regardless of ability. Art is for everyone. Culture is meant to be shared.

Our ACAC provides a space for museums, theaters, circuses, and more to learn how to ensure everyone can access their offerings.

Accessibility Forums

Through our ACAC forums, individuals with a disability and other representatives share practical ways to make a museum, theater, or event accessible for everyone. Sign up for our mailing list to stay up-to-date on our upcoming forums.

Following National Best Practices

We are proud to offer the ACAC to the St. Louis region as the first program of its kind, following national best practices pioneered by the LEAD program of The Kennedy Center and the Chicago Cultural Accessibility Consortium.

Increasing Accessibility in St. Louis

Our successes include increased accessibility at top St. Louis organizations such as the Missouri Botanical Gardens, the St. Louis Zoo, and others. Over 50 organizations have participated in forums to date.

We are grateful for the community’s receptivity and our ACAC sponsors’ generosity as we continue this work. Special thanks to:
