Jason Frazier

Jason Frazier has been with MindsEye since 2012 in various roles. He started as a part-time board operator for the station, transitioned to Community Outreach Coordinator in 2013, and then Development Director in 2015. In 2018, he became President and CEO.

When Jason is not at MindsEye, he hosts a national combat sports podcast called “Down Goes Frazier.” Jason typically spends his free time at home with his family in Mascoutah. He also has found time to double as a youth basketball and soccer coach for his son Price’s teams.

The Cahokia, IL native graduated from Gibault Catholic High School and is a proud SIUE Mass Communications alum. He was a member of Focus St. Louis’ 2020-21 Leadership St. Louis class and was selected by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of its 2020 Diverse Business Leaders.

Mike Curtis

Starting in July 2015, Mike has had a major impact on some of our newest initiatives in every program we offer. He is the organizer of all aspects of the Adaptive Athletics program, helps coordinate day-to-day broadcast production, is head of accessible Daisy or NLS content, and is the lead technology expert for Audio Description equipment and implementation at venues.

Mike is SafeSport Certified and has Certificate of Completion for Concussion in Sports by the CDC and NFHS.

Mike has an AA Degree in Music Technology. He enjoys writing and recording music, playing video games, and heavily supports Pittsburgh sports teams.

Magan Harms joined the MindsEye staff as the Arts and Culture Coordinator in November of 2019 after volunteering as an audio describer since 2017 and winning Audio Describer of the Year in 2018. She leads MindsEye’s Audio Description Program and the Arts and Culture Accessibility Cooperative.

She holds a BFA in arts management. In addition to her work at MindsEye, she is an audio description script writer for 3Play Media and teaches hand embroidery continuing education courses at St. Louis Community College as well as writes an art history blog. She enjoys reading, stitching, snacking, studying, and is obsessive about Cardinals baseball.

Natalie joined the team in January of 2023 as the Arts and Accessibility Coordinator. She first became passionate about the mission and work of MindsEye thanks to her previous role with community partner Language Access Multicultural People (LAMP). 

She earned a B.A. in Strategic Communication from Maryville University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, drawing, and binge watching her latest shows. 

Rodney Cotton

Rodney joined the MindsEye staff in April of 2021 to run the studio on weekends and act as a production assistant. During the week you can find him at his full-time job at Metrolighting or training Jiu Jitsu.

Rodney learned about MindsEye through Jason, who he met at an MMA match– Rodney was fighting, and Jason was covering the match for his podcast. The rest is history!

Jonathan Milam

Jonathan started with MindsEye as a technical contract engineer in July of 2022 and has worked within the audio information service and Information Technology fields for over 20 years. During that time, he managed the technical operations of two services in his home state of North Carolina and began looking for new opportunities to continue pursuing his passion for broadcasting and technology after the services closed in 2020.

He officially joined the MindsEye staff in July of 2023 as its remote broadcast engineer, and he helps ensure that our daily on-air operations run smoothly. He enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with his wonderful wife and two young daughters.

Cole graduated from Nashville Community High School in 2017, and then went on to play college football at Missouri Baptist University. In May 2022, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Teaching and Learning with a focus on special education. Since graduation, he has worked for numerous sports organizations, including the St. Louis Battlehawks. Cole is passionate about sports and fitness and is a huge fan of the New England Patriots.

Originally from Hawaii, Paul grew up in a community that believes in caring for one another. In that spirit, he volunteered for humanitarian efforts when natural disasters struck on his home island of Kauai. Being successful in many fields while in the private sector, Paul has decided to join the MindsEye team in an effort to make a real impact here in his new home.

Lauren graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2022 with a degree in Public Relations. In her free time, she likes to play volleyball, watch the Cardinals, and take her dog on walks. A fun fact about Lauren is that she’s never been on an airplane.

Raven is currently a student at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville double majoring in Mass Communications with a focus on production and Psychology. She likes watching movies and spending time with family. Raven will be with MindsEye for the Fall 2024 Semester.
