This Know-Before-You-Go guide is meant to help you plan for your upcoming visit to the National Blues Museum for an audio described event. For questions related to audio description services, email AD@mindseyeradio.org.

Location

The National Blues Museum is located at 615 Washington Ave, St. Louis, MO 63101.

Parking

Street and garage parking are available in several lots.

The closest paid lot is an open-air lot located at 6th Street and Lucas located behind the museum. There is also a parking garage located on 7th Street and Washington and another parking lot located behind the museum at 6th and Convention Plaza. These lots all take credit card, and a few will also accept cash. Street metered parking is limited in front of the museum on Washington Ave and on 6th street.

Call-a-Ride, Ride Shares, Taxi

Drop off spots are available in front of the museum or in the no parking zones by Sugarfire or in front of Gringos.

Public Transportation

The Convention Center Metrolink and Metrobus stops are located right next to the entrance at 6th and Washington.

Tickets and Will Call

The box office is directly inside the lobby on the left.

Audio Description Devices

You may pick up your audio description devices in the lobby straight inside the doors past the ticket window.

A MindsEye representative will need an ID to exchange for the device.  We will keep your ID during the performance and return it to you when you return the device after the tour. AD receivers are small, handheld devices.  They have a standard size headphone jack, and you are strongly encouraged to bring your own headphones.  Sanitized headphones can also be provided at no cost.  These headsets are yours to take with you and bring back next time.

Restrooms

Accessible bathrooms are located right off the main lobby.
