December is upon us! The final month of the year gives us all the opportunity to gather around our loved ones, reflect on the past year, and celebrate the important things in life – like BeepBall!

Yes, the BeepBall program here at MindsEye doesn’t know the meaning of “off-season” as the Gateway Archers will be holding practice at SIUE’s Fulginiti Indoor Softball Facility on Saturday, December 4th. Notably, it will be the first practice for new Archers players Sean Borah, Henry Allen, and Demetris Morrow. All of whom we are confident will make excellent additions to the team. This event is more than just a practice, though, for one member of the MindsEye team – President and CEO Jason Frazier who is an SIUE alum.

“It’s just so great to see my alma mater making such an effort to be more inclusive and be of service to those who are blind and visually impaired,” Jason says. Vice Chancellor of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Jessica Harris and Events Coordinator for Campus Recreation Tracy Zeigler were instrumental in arranging this opportunity for which the Gateway Archers and MindsEye are extremely grateful.

The Archers will practice from 3:00pm to 5:30pm and then take some time to do what we all love to do during this time of year – have a Holiday party!
