Ear to Ear is back this week with the U.S. Small Business Administration and FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency! LeRoy Frazier and Matt Folmar from SBA and Tiana Suber from FEMA provide valuable information about disaster assistance. Homeowners and renters have until December 16th to apply for federal assistance if they had damages from the July floods.

Apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 800-621-3362, by using the FEMA mobile app, or by visiting a Disaster Recovery Center:

You’ll get a registration number when the application is complete. Keep this number handy.

When you apply, you will need to have a basic list of damages, a phone number where you can be contacted, a current address and the address where the damage occurred, a Social Security Number for one member of the household, banking information if you want money deposited directly into your account, and insurance information for the damaged home and car, if it is available.

TAXPAYERS who received an IRS approved extension on filing 2021 taxes now have until Feb. 15, 2023, to file. This applies to individuals and business owners who were impacted by July floods. More details here: https://bit.ly/3Vbb9y7
