This Know Before You Guide is to help you prepare for MindsEye’s 2026 Gala at the Missouri History Museum.
Venue Location & General Information
The Missouri History Museum is located at 5700 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63112.
Getting Into the Venue
The north (Lindell Blvd. side) entrance of the Missouri History Museum has ramps on both sides. Check-in tables will be located just inside the entrance.
The south (Forest Park side) entrance has no elevation. Please note you will have to navigate through the event space to reach the check-in area.
Both entrances have power-assist automatic door openers.
AIRA Services
The Museum features AIRA (Artificial Intelligent Remote Assistance) for real-time assistance.

There is an audio description playlist, totaling eight tracks, that covers interior and exterior spaces, points of interest, and general way-finding information for the Missouri History Museum. It is available on both the museum website and through SoundCloud at the links below.

Parking & Transportation
Valet parking is available on the Northeast side of the building.
The Missouri History Museum has designated accessible parking lots located on the east and west sides of the building. Each lot has eight accessible parking spaces. If these spots are all in use, the next closest accessible parking spaces are located in the Forest Park Visitors’ Center parking lot.
An additional 400 free parking spaces can be found in the nearby Twin Lots, located directly across from the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center and alongside the Dwight Davis Tennis Center. Street parking is also permitted throughout Forest Park.
Metrolink/Train
The Missouri History Museum is roughly 0.3 miles south from the Forest Park DeBaliviere MetroLink station, also called the Forest Park Transit Center. Head south on DeBaliviere Ave. toward Forest Park Pkwy. The Missouri History Museum will be straight ahead. You can use Metro’s Trip Planner to plan your transit in advance.
Bus
The Missouri History Museum is roughly 0.3 miles south from the #90 Hampton MetroBus stop, located at the Forest Park Transit Center.

Guests may be dropped off at the North Entrance along Lindell Boulevard.
Registration
Check-in is at 6 PM at the North Entrance of the History Museum. You’ll receive your bidder and table numbers here.
We strongly encourage you to claim and assign any tickets, as well as update your preferred card payment on your account, before arrival via the text reminders or the link below. This will avoid longer check-in times, plus expedite check-out with all your awesome items later in the evening!

Activities

Museum Exhibit Accessibility
Audio-described Videos – All videos with visual elements are accessible through audio-description for people who are blind or have low vision.
Exhibit Touchables – We offer 3D tactile or touchable objects in exhibits for visitors who are blind, have low vision, or Deaf-blind.
Audio Description – All exhibits at the Missouri History Museum offer Audio Description of some exhibit elements, images, and artifacts for visitors who are blind or have low vision. The interactive touch screens within the exhibit also include audio-description of the main contents. Audio description can be accessed on a personal phone in the exhibits by scanning a QR code or on the audio-description webpage on our website.
Braille and Large Print Labels – Binders of exhibit labels in braille and large print can be checked out at the front desks. Exhibit Braille labels: Any braille labels in the exhibits, including the accessibility map, are audio-recorded and can be accessed using the QR code on personal phones to assist those who do not read braille.
Restrooms
Men’s and women’s restrooms are located on all three levels of the building. Each has an accessible stall. Single-occupancy, family-assist accessible bathrooms are located on all three levels.
Nursing Friendly Room
The history museum provides a private space for nursing. The Nursing & Sensory-Friendly Room is located on the lower level, across from the stairs. It also functions as a calming space for visitors who may be feeling overwhelmed. Please note that this space is for individual use. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
