MindsEye Adaptive Athletics is proud to welcome our Men’s GoalBall team. Neil Grunig, Liam McCoy, Leo Tomich, and Kaleb Wright are the four main roster players. Seyoon Choi and Leul McChesney will be alternates.

The team is extremely excited about the experience of the main team. Leo Tomich was a key piece playing for Illinois School for the Visually Impaired for 7 years and looked to continue playing after he graduated in spring 2022. Neil Grunig, a dynamic and athletic center, has been playing at Missouri School for the Blind for the past 4 years. Kaleb Wright, a power throwing wing, has been playing at Missouri School for the Blind for the past 2 years. Neil and Kaleb are apart of the Life Program at Missouri School for the Blind and are still eligible to compete during the schools season in Fall 2023. Liam McCoy has been involved with various adaptive sports, including BeepBall and being a member of the Gateway Archers the past 3 years.

The Men’s GoalBall Team will begin practicing regularly and looking to compete in 2023 and beyond. There will be another opportunity in Q1 of 2023 to tryout for two other alternate spots. Practices will be open for anyone to participate to build up their skills for future opportunities to join the team.
