MindsEye relies on essential grants and donations to pursue our mission of translating vision into audio. This year, we received a generous grant from a new source, and we would like to take a moment to thank them.
The King’s Daughters Organization Fund at the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln recently presented us with a $5,000 grant in support of our Broadcast Information Program expansion into Springfield, IL. Creating a unique broadcast stream to serve that community has been a new and challenging initiative for MindsEye. This grant will go a long way to ensure that central Illlinois residents who are blind or have low vision can maintain access to essential news and information!
