The Missouri History Museum Access Tours

Pulitzer Prize Photographs Descriptive Tour

Tuesday, September 19th at 6:00 p.m.

Visitors will see Pulitzer Prize–winning photographs dating back to 1942, when the photography award was first given. They will also hear from photographers about what it’s like to be on the front lines of history’s most important moments. Thanks to a partnership with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, visitors can explore a complementary exhibit that dives deeper into St. Louis history by using photos from the newspaper’s archives.

This tour gives visitors who are blind or have low vision a chance to explore the exhibits through artifact description and touchables in the gallery.

Space is limited. Reservations required: mohistory.org/visit/accessibility or 314.361.9017. Please mention if guests have any mobility issues.

This exhibit is presented alongside the local exhibit In Focus: St. Louis Post-Dispatch Photographs.

Pulitzer Prize Photographs was developed by the Newseum. The Newseum, headquartered in Washington, DC, promotes, explains, and defends free expression and the five freedoms of the First Amendment. newseum.org.
