Our Programs - MindsEye

MindsEye is the only service of its kind in the 30-county St. Louis region. Through award winning, volunteer-driven programs, people who have a visual disability can experience all this region has to offer. Individuals with a visual disability are blind or experience significant visual impairments even when using corrective lenses.

Broadcast Information Program

Through our Broadcast Information Program, listeners with a visual disability can still catch the headlines and the best bargains at the grocery store.

Audio Description Program

The Audio Description Program ensures that every person who attends a theater production or a museum exhibit can understand and enjoy it, regardless of visual ability.

Adaptive Athletics Program

The Adaptive Athletics Program will consist of BeepBall, Blind Soccer, and Goalball. Each program will be available for educational demonstrations for a wide variety of schools, events, and corporate team building activities.

Arts and Culture Accessibility Cooperative

The Cooperative creates a resource for the St. Louis community, allowing us to continually move forward through discussions and committed work toward a more inclusive arts and culture scene for our region.

Our programs are offered free of charge to people with a visual disability through the support of community members like you and the generosity of our partners.
